PCI Project Management provides a strong platform to optimize performance, sustainability and productivity by managing the flow of work and output quality, through to successful project completion.
Although the range of services we provide evolves in response to changing technologies and requests from our clients, our basic service offerings can be classified into five major groups of lifecycle project services as follows:
Concept &Finance
- Project Identification and packaging including establishing project priority and suitability for adoption.
- Funding as advisory service to select possible financing source(s) and assist with introductions or applications for ODA and private financing.
- Initial Study to define basic framework for policy decisions in developing a concept.
Planning
- Site &Environmental Surveys to obtain technical basis for planning.
- Master Plan to formulate an investment strategy including project works, cost/benefit estimation and implementation schedule.
- Feasibility Study to verify the economic and financial possibility of implementation, and the investment effects of the project.
Design
- Basic Design to explore the design options for a project and create an optimum plan.
- Detailed Design covering detailed design drawings and cost estimates.
- Specifications, Bills of Quantity &Tender Documents for national and international competitive bidding.
- Operations Plan to prepare operations and service manuals, and procurement of O&M services provider.
Project Implementation
- Procurement of contractors, goods &specialized services
- Construction supervision using PCI's own specialized Project Management program to manage project implementation and risks to achieve quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
- Testing &commissioning prior to handover of projects (in close coordination with contractor and plant manufacturer).
Operation and Management Support
- Training of management and operations staff.
- Operations assistance to establish staff and organizations for facilities and transport infrastructure.
- Maintenance management assistance including software systems and data solutions.
- Asset Management full services including systems to efficiently track and schedule infrastructure resources, maintenance and investment.
